Our association uses a Merchant Services vendor who charges a processing fee that goes directly to the vendor to provide this convenience to our association. Merchant Service fees are charged to every vendor who accepts credit cards. Many retail vendors, such as Walmart or a gas station, absorb the Merchant Service cost in their price, however, most community associations and service vendors pass the cost onto homeowners who choose to pay with a credit card, debit card, or eCheck payment.
If you do not wish to use this convenient service most banks offer free bill pay services that are easily set-up through your bank’s online payment portal or you can contact your bank directly. You can always mail a cashier's check, money order, certified check, or personal check payable to our Association to PO Box 1299, Commerce, GA 30529. Please include your full account number in the memorandum to avoid processing delays. It is important to send your payment to the lockbox address and not your local office. Please do not send correspondence to the payment address. A lockbox is a service whereby a financial institution takes responsibility for processing payments mailed to a designated Post Office Box. This service is ideal for processing homeowner association assessments because it integrates with our management software, is more secure with the bank directly handling the check, reduces internal processing/handling costs (saving you money), and reduces posting delays to help improve the association’s cash flow.
