The Board would like to provide an update on our first 30 days along with a brief summary of what has been accomplished.  

Contracts:

The following contracts have been signed and/or renewed and can be found at this link on the Portal in the Vendor Contracts Folder: https://infohoa.cincwebaxis.com/rmc/documents/

HPS - We are working with HPS to get their contract uploaded

We are working with HPS to have all of the old contracts placed in a folder on the Portal called Archived Contracts. We'll let you know once that has been accomplished.

Reserve Funds:

At previous community meetings there were discussions to move these funds into an interest-bearing account. As part of our financial review, we were pleased to see that the Reserve account has been earning 2.75% interest. We have recently initiated the process to move a portion of the Reserve account into a 6-month CD earning a higher interest rate.

Reserve Study:

The previous Board commissioned a Reserve Study with a firm named Miller Dodson.  The current Board has conducted a call with Miller Dodson to understand the details and recommendations made in the report. We will continue to study the report and keep the community updated as appropriate. 

ARC Committee:

One of our goals is to make the ARC process as transparent and expedient as possible. To that end, during our first week in office, we met with the four homeowners who had requests in process, and we were able to approve all of them. Once the work is completed, we will visit each site to make sure the work has been done according to the approved plans so the homeowner will then be able to request any deposits back that they have submitted. We have also updated the ARC committee membership with the following members:

Tom Caffrey - Chairperson

Doug Levengood - Vice Chairperson

Dante Villecco - Member

Bill West - Member

Rich Stern - Member

We'd like to thank Dante and Bill for lending their help and we're hoping by having three Board members included in the committee, we'll be able to move at pace with all requests.

2024 Committees: 

Last year we leveraged the collective brilliance of the community by creating committees to help with the board workload.  As of now we have the following committees:

Community Relations Committee - Carol Stefan - Chairperson

ARC Committee - Members per the list up above

Pond and Landscaping Committee - Doug Levengood - Chairperson, and to those of you who were wondering, "Doug has the keys". 

Closing:

The Board meets quarterly, and the next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th at 7 pm.  We would love to have community participation for the Board calls, please join us! The calendar on the portal is in the process of being updated with the rest of Board calls for 2024. 

As a gentle reminder, please move all trash and recycle bins to a location that is not visible from the street after pickup day.
